Grant Park

Museum Campus
The Museum Campus is a pedestrian-friendly park consisting of 57 acres along the edge of Lake Michigan. It is home to three of Chicago’s most popular museums—the Adler Planetarium, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Field Museum of Natural History.

Art Institute of Chicago
The Art Institute of Chicago has showcased magnificent art collections for more than 150 years. Known for its Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and American paintings, the institute houses more than 260,000 works of art. At one million square feet, it provides a fascinating journey into the more than 5,000 years of human expression from cultures around the world.
Millennium Park
Sitting atop a parking garage and the Millennium Station commuter rail, Millennium Park is considered to be the world’s largest rooftop garden. Located within the northwestern section of Grant Park, Millennium Park features a variety of public art, post-modern architecture, an ice-skating rink, and a variety of other attractions. Numerous events, concerts, and cultural activities are held here throughout the year.
Chicago Loop Business & Financial District
The Loop is the second largest central business district in the United States. You’ll find a wide variety of shopping, dining, and cultural activities here.

State Street Shopping
One of Chicago’s historic shopping destinations, State Street became famous when Frank Sinatra sang its praises in his song “Chicago.” Today, it’s home to a pedestrian mall and a variety of well-known stores. Visitors here can see the Chicago Archbishop’s Mansion, the Original Playboy Mansion, the Chicago Theatre, and more.

Chicago Theatre
The Chicago Theatre was built in 1921 and was the first large movie palace in the United States. Its stunning French Baroque style, magnificent lobby, and grand staircase provide ample reason for a visit while you’re in the area. Simply walking by is an experience in and of itself as the Chicago Theatre marquee and six-story-high CHICAGO sign are striking icons on State Street. Stage plays, magic shows, comedy, concerts, and more are performed here throughout the year.

Navy Pier
Historic Navy Pier is Chicago’s premier tourist attraction.
