The wedding of a lifetime. A lifetime in the making.
Celebrate matrimonial bliss at the Hotel Built on Love.
Stylishly situated in downtown Chicago, Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel is one of 26 remaining palace hotels and boasts a legacy of romance having hosted over 9,000 weddings.
Symbols of love and beauty are ever-present throughout the hotel. Guests are greeted at the Monroe Street entrance by a pair of hand-forged bronze doors, each adorned with filigreed peacocks, a symbol of love and good fortune. A statue of Romeo and Juliet welcomes guests as they ascend the grand staircase to gaze upon the awe-inspiring historic lobby, resplendent with 21 panels of Greek mythological scenes, including Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, designed by the French Art Deco painter Louis Pierre Regal. The enchantment of the historic lobby is further accented by the 1.25-ton, 24-karat gold winged angel candelabras designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany, flanking the entrance of the historic Empire Room.
Wedding celebrations at the Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel are surrounded by timeless elegance and historic significance in an unrivaled setting. The historic and expansive Grand and State Ballrooms for a ceremony and reception, the ornate Red Lacquer Room adorned with garnet chandeliers is ideal for a celebration of your reception or dance, and the famed Empire Room where entertainers including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Harry Belafonte performed during the supper club era.
